camera and speed limit

just a question if anyone can assist the answer,

at the new high way to ras-aboud-aboud/corniche from wakrah or from barwa village, there is signage speed limit at 60km/hr. i drove at this speed limit but somehow i felt my car is very slow at this 3 lanes road and everyone speeding more than it and remain at least 70 to 80km/hr. my car likes an obstruction fom these speedy cars (and danger for me as well). my question is there any camera ahead this road, until the signage change to 100km afterwards and applies throughout this road to corniche junction.

The main purpose why that speed limit is 40 or 60 kph, is because the area is under road construction. So its a precaution to anyone..and if authorities wanted to put cameras to imposed penalties that is their option. Just be cautious.

some road signs here is bit confusing, and sometimes we tend to overlooked or misunderstood it. sometimes we just need to enhance our initiative.

Yes maybe its a speed limit for the exit roods or entry to a new road or service rd not on the main road/express rd.

The speed limit on the ENTIRE HIGHWAY is 100 Km/h starting from corniche intersectin to BARWA signal.

The signage of 60km/h and at some plces even 40km/h is for those who wants to take exit from this highway to the other routes.

Hope this will help u

I think 60 km/hr is for the exit or the service road.
