Can anyone give me some advice about what I should/ shouldn't bring with me when coming to live in Qatar?

I am taking up a post next week as a primary teacher and need some advice. Have worked in the same small Scottish school for the past 27 years and this is my first time working abroad.
A better question would be "I can't live without xyz - is it available in Doha?"
The number of things I can't find (or order online) in Doha gets smaller every year. But I still bring in some things from my vacations at home that I can't get here (yet).
Almost everything that you would expect to find in the UK is available in Qatar, and you will see familiar hgh street shops (m&s, bhs, etc) and brands. You will have to pay a bit more for some 'western' brands or salads flown in from Holland, but there are just as tasty 'locally' grown vegetables. It's all part of the expeience being overseas. You may want to sign up to Skype so your friends and family can keep in touch as international phone calls can be expensive, and if you have a UK mobile it can be used here with a local simcard, but you may need to get it unlocked off the UK network so can be used with any simcard.
Guess in life, we can tolerate many changes in our environment. However, one of the most difficult to adapt over the longer term would be food.
I would bring over my favourite sauces and key ingredients.
However, if you are the baked beans and corn beef person. You would do okay to bring more money :)
Cheers
