Oops.. I forgot to mention that I start from traffic Dept at Old Airport (through the inner lanes of cos). For you it may take slightly longer to reach the Airport signal from Kahramaa building.

Hi..U can take the Airport signal all the way straight to Sword signal. take left at Sword signal, go straight to Signal near NBK showroom (Kahramaa Admin bldg.) then straight to signal near Garden restaurant. Turn left, go on to Mannai R/A.. takes U straight to HMC signal. Turn left to go to Al Sadd signal.. A little bit long route.. but traffic and number of signals are comparatively less. My office is at Royal Plaza, Al Sadd and this route takes me there in around 20 mins at 7.20 in the morning. On the way back, I come through Corniche at 5.30 pm and it takes me 20 mins again.

Follow the green Hamad hospital helicopter enroute; it follows the same path every day at about 6am.

Joke apart:

From Kahramaa (hilal) round go straight to closed part of D-ring road, take side road (right) next to Birla School, reach the Al Arabi Stadium, go again left and then right through the local roads till you reach the round about before mamoura signal, go to mamoura signal, take right to reach mid-mac flyover, go straight, take right to local road to reach al-nasser area, go straight till you reach the Al Sadd signal (in front of KFC).
