Can I convert my British Learner License for Qatari License?

I hold a British provisional driving license (Learner License) I want to get a full qatari license but I am here on a visit visa since 6 months and yet waiting to be sponsored by any company for work so I can retain a RP so I can legally drive, can I convert my learner license to qatari license or I have to take a test for that? and do I need to be a residence to do that? is there any other way I can retain a license, I mean if I pay someone to get me a license or what if I get an international license can I use that? HELP!!
No you can't. You need a full UK license to transfer to a full Qatari license. There are NO learner licenses in Qatar, so no equivalent. To be fair, you can get a learner license at 17 in the UK with zero experience, and if you haven't or can't pass the test in the UK you shouldn't get a license here! You'll have to take the lessons and tests here....though how many you do and how many someone else does for you is down to you :-)
Traffic Department Headquarter is in Madinat Khalifa (near Immigration Department), typist there will fill in the application, try to be there before 12 noon (avoid rush hour) to see captain. Good luck.

Yes, you can request for a temporary driver’s license which should be valid for 3 months or your visa validity.
