Can my office driver drive while his license is under police retention?
Our office driver was stopped by "off duty" police due to he didnt gave way to this police 2 days ago. The police ask the driver to stop aside and took the driver's license, due to he is argued with this gentlemen not knowing that he was a police officer.
The driver then had to take back his license to police office, pay fine of QR500 and received one paper (its in Arabic, I dont understand single word).
Can our office driver drive, using this paper? I believe this paper is explaining that his license is under police retention, or so ...

No, It's better to take precaution than to cure... Original driving license is required while driving. Please take care, and do not allow your office drive to drive unless he has his original driving license. In the mean time you can give him some other assignement so that he does not have any deduction in his monthly salary.
No problem to drive, if any checking or accident then he will be in trouble, you should have your original Driving licence while you are driving. take care.
