Hi, I have got canada immigration file number. My total points are 65 with IELTS results. one needs 67 points to qualify. does anybody have any idea that do they consider english language supporting letter along with IELTS result if you fall short of just 1 band in listening module of IELTS to claim enough score? i appeared for IELTS twice and both time i got same result. with my lelts i score 14 points and i need all 16 points to reach 67 as m not married. does immigration officer make any exception or they will simply reject my application if i dont claim all 67? please reply if anybody has any experiance.

Once you submit your application with the fee, you will have to have the necessary 67 points to get into the 'pool'. You can wait several years in the pool before rejected. You are competing with people who score much higher say 70- 80 points and are qualified in their shortage areas. You also need a perfect command of english. Canada has the longest wait of all countries for Immigration.

Before you apply have a look and see if you can increase your points score by taking a teaching degree or learning french fluently, or being prepared to relocate to a more remote part of Canada.

Be warned if when you submit your application you have less than the minimum '67 points' they will keep your fee and reject you outright.

Sorry if this is not the news you want but their system works to ensure they have their pick of the most quallified candidates.

Basically,

Not meeting English requirement means you are not qualifying. As an Indianlity and after twice test and not improving means you are not trying hard enough.

GOOD LUCK.
