Hello Everyone,

I am planning to move to Qatar. I currently reside in Delhi (India) and draw an annual salary of INR 3 Million. Post Tax and other deduction my monthly in hand salary is 180000 (around 2.16 Mn annually).

We are a family of three, me, my wife and my mother.

If someone can guide me on cost of living in Qatar vis-a-vis India and what should be the right salary for me based on the given information.

Dear Ishan

Cost of living is on higher side in Qatar but it all depends on our own standard of living. That is applicable everywhere even in Delhi, crorepatis leading life at the same time rickshaw pullers are also living in large numbers in Delhi.So compare your salary with salary offered and decide on your own because you are already getting a decent salary in delhi itself

Ishan , Don't leave if it's less than 4 times because when you would go back after a few years of working in Qatar ....... you will face difficulties of adjusting to the life in Delhi ........
