Which one is closer to where you live and which type of school is your child likely to attend once you leave Doha. DESS is a UK curriculum school while Parkhouse is a PYC school.

becs...... if you havent already, go into the schools and have a good look around. It is so important to make the right choice now that you have your offers. My children are at DESS and absolutely love it. Its an exceptional school and I am sooooo pleased with it. That said, I know people who have children at Park House and I know some staff there and I can tell you that it is also a great school. Personally I wouldnt let the driving distance to school colour my judgement on which school to go for - just go for the one which you think will suit your child the best and if it means an extra 15 mins in the car in the morning so be it...

My 2 children are in Park House and i am very happy with the school. DESS is known to be a good school as well, consider which is closer to you as the traffic is a nightmare.

Good luck!
