Demobilization process after resigning
Hello ,
Can some1 shed some light on what the "demobilization" process generally involves after one has resigned from their job in Qatar?My wife has resigned from her job and is no longer in Qatar.In their email,HR has indicated that she might have to come to Qatar for them to complete processing of her remaining salary,end-of-service benefit etc.Returning to Qatar is currently not an option for a number of reason.
She had not resigned prior to leaving Qatar and only did so recently.This was discussed with management ,and she is not reneging on her contract or left them hanging.
The company had been direct-depositing her pay from the time she left till the time of resignation ( 3 months).Cant they just do the same with any remaining balance? As for the RP - wont that expire after a period of 6 months or so as it is?
Doesnt help that the HR guy we've been exchanging emails with is either clueless himself or not very helful.In the mean time ......let me know guys !
