I have single unit ACs in my villa and need to know if I should leave the ACs on when we leave for summer. We will be gone for 2months. Please good advice needed as we are leaving soon. Thanks

I did leave two units on while on leave last year, but that was for only three weeks.

Agreed.

Always best to unplug all the appliances, sockets, etc. I turn off the main water pipe as well.

AC is a different matter for us though as its 'central' to the complex I live in, plus we have a German installed 'circuit breaker'

My 2 cents on this...

DO NOT leave any electrical appliance ON when u r in vacation unless u hv somebody to attend to it when required.

!!Better SAFE than SORRY!!

Make sure the fan speed is set to 'high' as well.

For the long holidays, I always set my AC on with the timer.

2 hours a day from 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm. This helps to keep the air circulating and to keep soft furnishings 'fresh'.

For this reason alone I also leave all the cupboard doors, wardrobe doors open etc.

Please make sure to switch it offffff. !

Save energy, prevent short circuit / malfunction etc.

Happy journey !!

I don't. If I were to do so I would leave one central unit on at a high temperature.
