Driving on Bahraini License

Hi,

Im new in Qatar, Pakistani national holding Bahraini Driving License, i have small queries if you guys can help.:

- Can i drive in qatar holding bahraini license while my RP is in Process.?

- My bahraini license is easily convertable into qatari license ? if yes how much they charge i mean the fee and how many days it will take ?

- ihave rented a car the rental company told me that u cannot drive more then 7 days on bahraini license because if there is an accident or something insurance company will not pay anything . is it the case.?

Please advise with ur expert advise.

I think except UAE license is possible to convert even if you are not in RP.

Go to traffic police Madina Khalifa along with original bahrin license, sponsor letter, passport copy and ATM card with 150 or 250 riyal

I do not know the exact time (I think the car hiring company knows better than me) but you can not drive for long time with your Bahrain driving license. Converting from any Gulf country is very easy. You can make it from the traffic department and the fee is less than 250 QAR I guess.
