Driving School Requirements...

My company is desperate to sponsor me for a light vehicle driving license since part of my work is to go to project sites. Unfortunately, my passport for the work visa stamp and my residence id is still on process at the immigration. It might be released after a month or so. Is there any alternative documents I can submit (like copy of work visa and passport) so I can start driving school asap? Please advice... Thanks.

Hi,

Since u don't have ur Qatar ID yet u can submit the passport copy with the latest arrival stamp from qatar & visa copy, plus the NOC addressed to Traffic Department indicating your passport number, copy of computer registration number of the company, eye test for driving lesson (any optician)and 4 pcs. passport size photos.

Do u have driver's license in Phils? If yes, copy of license. Seek approval from the traffic dept. 1st for the approval. Actually there are 2options if u have a license, u can take the direct test or take short course driving lessons. If u dont have license in Phils., then u have to take the full course (40 days)with all the requirements I mentioned above.

You can go any of the driving school and join for any programme like 12 days 40 days etc...... no problem for the driving test once u passed the test u will have get a temperory licence and after ur residence permit u will get the new permenant licence. Just u take ur visa copy and pp alongwith u and check the availability in schools.
