Exchange of Australian $ to QR

Hi All,
Is there a place, bank or money changer that you can recommend to exchange my Australian Dollar forQatari Riyal?
Based on your experience, which one is better: directly convert AU$ to QR or get US$ first (here in Australia) and convert it once we arrive in Qatar.

Al Sadd exchange is good.
change directly to QR. as each and everty convert will cost you the difference in rates..
Better to change Australian $ to QAR direct. There are plenty of Money changers in Doha whom will give you a good rate of exchange.
While in Qatar you can exchange your AUD to QAR at any exchange house or banks (there are many of them) Exchange houses provide a better rate. Welcome to Qatar.
