finding a decent 1 BR apartment

I am looking for a decent proper 1 bedroom apartment. Of course I do have some preferences like it being a new building, fully furnished, and most important have a few restaurants close by. If you know of one please contact me on 5875273. I did see one this morning which was OK but the security seemed too intrusive. Like you had to sign in your visitor and if your guest stayed overnight you had to pay an extra 200QR. I felt that was too hotel like and schoolboyish. Is this the general rule for buildings out here?
