Furniture and Mattresses

Hi. I recently moved to Doha and will be moving into a new flat next week (semi-furnished).

I would like to buy a good king mattress set. Are sealy or simmons or posturpedic available here?

Where do you guys recommend to buy mattresses from in Doha?

Likewise, any good furniture stores that carry more "conservative" stuff, not the gaudy striped/patterned/paisley crud we see in hotels and furnished flats?

Thanks all.

I'm moving to Qatar very soon this July. They provide us unfurnished villa. I prefer to make own cupboard in my bedroom and my children bedrooms. I wonder if we can find carpenter easily in Doha? Please advise.

Try Home r Us at Hyatt Plaza or ID design at The Mall.

As American Furniture, i found their furniture very arabic style-ish.

Yeah Home Centre sell bedroom stuff as well. Have you tried the different home outlets at the City Centre and the Mall?

Hi

Someone at work told me home centre too, don't know why I thought they only sold furniture, not bedroom stuff.

They have a good promotion on now too, so off I go...

Thanks!
