Garden hose from kitchen faucet?
I've just moved into a new villa that does not have an outdoor water hookup. Has anyone run into this same problem and found a good solution? I am currently trying to find an adapter for my kitchen faucet to allow me to run the hose through the window into the backyard garden. However none of the fixtures I've found (at Carrefour) have fit the faucet--they are too small in diameter. Any advice?
Thanks for the suggestions, although since it's company (university) housing I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to alter in terms of plumbing?
Get a plumber to have a look. He could probably find a good point and take a pipe outside to wherever you want and install a tap for your hose. Material will not cost much, and you just need to find a decent plumber, the guy can tell you what you need and should be able to help you to buy them also. Good luck.
better call a plumber from nearest hardware in your place, they will simply split the source from kitchen and make new connection faucet to your garden, you might spend around 200QR with parts and labour.
