Good Conduct Certificate

Hi all.

I currently work in the UAE, but am a British national. I have been offered a role in Qatar with a large organisiation.

Part of the visa process is getting a good conduct certificate. I understand that if you're coming from the UK then Disclosure Scotland can do this, but I can't as I don't have any proof of address for the last 3 years (flat share in UAE). Will a good conduct certificate from the UAE police suffice? Any other ways around this?

Thanks for any assistance.

Thanks Copland - so just to confirm there was no need to get a Good Conduct certificate from the UK? A UAE one will suffice?

If you have Emirates ID its easy to apply, just visit police station heres the link https://es.adpolice.gov.ae/gccr/PrintingSitesEn.aspx and wait for 1 week.

You have to get the Good Conduct, so that it will easy for you to apply for bank account, driving licence and others. since you are coming from UAE, they will check if you have bank issue and other things.

I've been transferred from UAE to Qatar, I took the Good conduct before coming here.

Step1:Police clearance certificate (PCC) in english from Dubai...Step2:Good conduct certificate from my home country consulate in Dubai, they asked me to submit the PCC along with the applicationthese certificates along with my other documents were sent to my organisation, for your nationality, i presume the similar would apply.

it's my second time to get a job here in Qatar, all these companies I worked with never asked for a good conduct certificate to process my working visa. All you need is diploma, NOC(if previously employed here) and pass the medical exam.
