I got this just now. I dont even know the place above. And I was on work (Ras Laffan) on the said time and date. And just recently I checked the moi website, no violation. Pls help. Is there a possibility that I can contest this violation?
Maybe it was sent to you by mistake or you can inquire directly to the traffic division to be sure.They are giving that details for violations like over-taking and over speeding also.
Yes go to the Police Dept. at Madinat Khalifa asap and ask for the picture of the car that was in violation. My colleague had a similar experience. He drives a Land Cruiser and the the car in violation as shown in the picture was a Nissan Maxima. The encoder made a mistake in the last digit of the Maxima's plate number. By the way, you said you have checked the MOI site and there is no violation as you have entered your plate number. This is more accurate. The text you received from METRASH may have been a mistake.
try to go in madina khalifa traffic department, look for the violation section...tell them that you want to confirm, if its you or some other plate number...and the word 'loading' in your violation should be read as 'driving'. hope its not you, coz sometimes, they got mistake on timing, and the date too...
