Is it possible to have a nationwide non vehicle day in Doha on a Friday/Saturday (once every 3 months perhaps?

I think it is a great idea but unfortunately the government first have to encourage people to use public transportation and the public transportation in this country is very primitive indeed.

a nice dream but not possible.especially not in Qatar.Who will walk in that heat?Even its only a 2 or 3 min walk?we tried it here in Swiss a long time ago and it was not working.and here our public transport system is very good.not to compare with Qatar. But not even here was working. So i think no chance for Doha.Sorry.

Possible if and only if

they are ready to walk to a shop and not Hunk their Horn to get a can of Pepsi.

this is equivalent to IMPOSIBLE

Yet I will be the first to accept such a disision

Smile...one way of having a nice day

if the public transportation improves, then there will be a chance.

from my point of view, it can never happen or until gulf run out of petrol production. by now, it's impossible!

but, if it's a group of ppls decide to do it, it may succeed.

all the best.
