In addition to blood test they also do chest xray in the medical screening before visa stamping. Don't intend to scare you but I suggest a discussion on this with your doctor before landing up in Qatar.
just bring the doctors prescription with you, and as much as possible have in checked in so that you wont be frisk when you have it hand carried.
i brought all my medications with me, from my asthma, to urticaria, and other inhalers, had it checked in but handcarried the prescriptions, and i had not encountered any problem.
