Mfx ... does your company not providing transport to Ras Laffan? It is long drive to Ras Laffan, you have to add another 2 hrs on top of your working hrs.

Or have the family in Doha and drive every day to Ras Laffan. Only one advise..be sure to be located on the north side of Doha. In that case you don't have a real long drive. Otherwise if you are located near the Villagio (like I am) expect at least a one hour drive to Ras Laffan.

If you going to work or QP ... they have an established compound in Dukhan for senior staffs with the pool and all other facilities.

However Dukhan rather far to drive daily to Doha.

QP start to develop acommodation for senior staff in Mesaieed, building houses and the school. It is about 50kms one way to Doha. More reasonable to drive to Doha compare if you live in Dukhan.

Peopl dont normally take their family living in Ras Laffan, if you work in Ras Laffan you can put the family living in Al Khor. Al Khor is about halfway mark from Doha to Ras Laffan.
