Moving Pets to Qatar
Hi There,
I am moving to Qatar in 12 weeks and have a 4 year old Persian cat. He is a house cat. I wondered if anyone has any feedback/ information/ advice on this.
Is it legal to bring persian cats into Doha? Obviously he has long hair, so would the temperature be an issue for him? Has anyone else taken their persian cat to Doha? Do you foresee it being problematic to move him back to the UK if/ when we move back to the uk?
Thanks in advance
One caveat - some airlines, QR included, will not transport Persian cats. Check it out beforehand. There's no problem with the heat, you certainly wouldn't let a Persian out of your house!

I think Chelsea has already given you the link and information. Good luck with your move to Qatar..:)
So long as you have all the paperwork in place and all the vaccinations bloodwork done - it can take a few months - again, Janet can help you with the specifics
Thanks for your speedy response! Much appreciated! Do you know if it's as easy to bring animals back to the UK when returning?

Persians are restricted by which airlines they can travel on but other then that, it's quite simple!
