moving from qatar to doha - shipping

Hi
has anyone had good experience with the shippers from qatar?
Im looking to move to bahrain and export my car.
i have had 2 qoutes all a little too high,so im going to consider shipping only personal effects and car.

anyone had problems with crown, gac?

also is anyone familar with the proceedure to export our car as the movers won't do it, we have to

i know we have to get an export cert that only last 10 days( am im told youcant get extension to this ), but what about other costs such as plates and anything that has to be done before getting the export cert.
maybe this process is worth a special place in QL information for expats

I have searched here in QL but the search results dont alwasy take you to the correct page ( something for QL to consider improving please )
