I am encourage by a friend to work in Qatar Petroleum. He said he will help me find a job there. He will directly send my application to their HR. Will this guarantee me a job in QP? My friend is in managerial position there.

Recommendation will help you but not guarantee a job in QP.

There are procedure which all Govt. companies has to follow.An interview will be there, sometimes also a written test.

Then if selected the papers goes to the CID & Labour dept. If the post is for Qataris then there are chances that the Labour dept may reject it.

Keep your fingers crossed, it may help you but never 100% guarantee.
