I am a UAE resident. However I am in Qatar most of the time. Can I open a savings account in Qatar? I know that I am not eligible for a checking account without a resident visa...
Anybody has experince on this?
Thank you in advance.
hi dude, which bank do you work, i really need to open an savings account, so tell me the procedure and how much should i maintain in my account. o else give me your contact number.
Hi I'm Malaysian passport holder and have a bussiness visa here and did managed to open the saving account at Doha Bank. You also can apply to open the account from Doha bank through the internet.
Yes you can open a savings account. Just check with individual banks. QNB and Standard Chartered both were offering this at least a year ago. As long as you have a passport and valid visa, you are ok.
leo_ieo i think that is applicable if you are working here and your RP is still in process. as long as your employer would give you COE then some banks accept that, usually it is to open a payroll account.
technically, you can't open a bank account. but why bother it is easy to change your money to QR riyals at the airport. for other expenses you can just use c. card right? the forex loss is very minimal anyway and there are some stores here that accept UAE money..
With the outmost respect you could deposit any monetary donations in my church box. The members of my congregation will greatly accept your monetary contributions. We do have a policy of acceptance of 100 USD or equal value or more only IS accepted for donations.
I work in a bank, you cannot open a savings or current account without your residence visa with us. I am not sure with other banks, but I believe it to be the same.
