Is Pakistani International Driving License valid in Qatar to drive?

Hi, I recently moved in doha for work and I am on system analyst visa, I hold international driving license issued from Islamabad Pakistan and my question is it I mean Pakistani International Driving License valid in qatar to drive directly? Or what procedure needs to be followed for converting it to a qatari driving license? I have discussed it with so many people and friends but everyone has a different opinion, would appreciate if someone who has gone through this process from Pakistan could answer this? There is no procedure to convert PIDL into QDL.

Instead you must register in any driving school, prepare for the test and then at the date registered pass the test.

That's the only procedure.
