I guess this has been covered somewhere, but I can't find it. Where do I get a Qatar ID card made?

I guess the RP is the one glued to passport. If it's then I already have my RP but still don't have my ID plastic card yet. It's not very convenient as I always have to use my driving license for ID.

HSBC does want ID card or passport.

I am here 7 months and still waiting.

You can get it from the immigration department if it has not yet been issued to you while you got your RP.

When your sponsor gets the residence permit processed the ID is made at the same time.

It expires when the RP does so renewal is the same.
