Setting up home in qatar
We are a family of 5 coming out to Al Khor community in July, can anyone give us an idea whats in the senior staff houses as in contents if any? and is there any need to bring any UK home comforts with us or is it better to get it out there?
for us men whats the best 4x4 vehicle buy out there? i.e Ford, nissan etc.
Where are you from? Which is your country of origin?
Is there something we should know,you sound bitter

I work for Qatar Gas. It is great gig, even better if you can live in Al Khor. I agree with most, Toyota is King here, parts are readily avaiable. That is important here.

.... is not necessarily all that big a deal. Senior staff at QG get a travel allowance same as most any other position.

Does anyone know if the al khor community school have a uniform. We are joining my husband in August and will be very close to school starting. If they do would it be easier to but here in the uk first. Any info on the school would be great,then I can prepare my 4yr and 7 yr old. Many thanks, Mel.
