Shoes?
By donnabella •
What kind of shoes are acceptable for women to wear in a business environment - open-toe or not? Do most people wear ballerinas, closed-toe, etc. May sound silly but I lived in an Asian culture where it was unacceptable for women to wear open-toe shoes when they were teaching at the uni! Thanks for your help!
closed shoes are preferable in business environment...but i dont see any restrictions in wearing open toe shoes. just make sure it gives u a "business/formal" effect. since there are a lot of variations of these sandals. some are for parties or too casual.
but its how u carry....

close shoes is appropriate and ballerina is acceptable
I'm really hoping open-toe shoes are acceptable over there. I love getting pedicures with little designs on my toes!

I guess 70% working class women out here in Qatar walk around at work in a closed toe shoes. When shopping is concern, open toe or sandals r preferred.
