short term rent, lease start..
Hello everyone, thanks for helping out!
We are moving to Qatar first week of June, and we will be looking for rent, can you please recommend companies, real estate that accept to rent for short period (few weeks, 1 month etc)..the time to settle and choose a villa.
And also, does rent start always on day 1 on the month, or can be in the middle. Thank you
Hi, and welcome. Short term is definitely the best way to go so you have some breathing space to find something permanent.
You pay a premium for short term accommodation, but it's far better value than a hotel. Depending on your budget and where you'd prefer to stay you have the following option;
Real Estate Agents specializing in Short Term;
Mirage Real Estate - They have 3 buildings that offer monthly rentals.
Homes 2 Rent - Have a number of building offer monthly rent.
Operators ;
Holiday Villa - Al Muntezah, Central, good quality with 2 & 3 bed units.
Ezdan Suites - West Bay. Bad rep, but good for short term. Good facilities. As long as short term, it's fine.

I am planning to move to Qatar in one month time. I would like to have a 2 BR / 3 BR fully furnished flat near to Air port Road. I would also like to know the rents for furnished villas near around the Air port Road. Basically I am looking for a decent gated community.
Welcome to Qatar. Yes, usually rent will start at the beginning of the month but it will depend on your negotiations with the owner/real estate agent. Check the Accommodation ads here in QL for the best offers.
