Speed limit tolerance

Do you know speed limit tolerance, without trapped by radar surveillance cameras.

(i.e. the limit is marked as 100 km/h but you can drive up to 120 km/h without high speed violation)

dear all,

thanks for info. yes i never take a risk and i don't want to. always follow the signs and the limits. you know sometimes we exceed the limits due to various reasons like overtaking, etc.

The tolerance is 10 on every road monitored by Traffic Dept. wether Fixed or Mobile radars.

Road Limit Speed tolerance Violation

80 Km/Hr 90 Km/Hr 91 Up

100 Km/Hr 110 Km/Hr 111 Up

120 Km/Hr 130 Km/Hr 131 Up

FYI, trucks have different speed limits compared to light vehicles. Always refer to the road signs.

The speed limit tolerance here is like in an 80 km/hr road u can drive until 90 and at 91 the camera flashes. Same applies for other slabs. But I still have a doubt whether the max is 89 or 90...Anyway its just a matter of 1unit...But why take the risk.. be at the safe side.

The tolerance in Qatar is less than Dubai. Here the tolerance is only 5%.

I could count some and in few days you would be paying some extra thousands :P...why to bother...just commit to the signs!
