Televisions in Qatar

Hi

Does anyone know what system the televisions are on in Qatar? Thinking of bringing ours over but not sure on which PAL it runs in Qatar and if we'd be able to use it. Similarly has anyone from the UK tried to use a sky digital box there?

Trying to decide what we need to get rid off!

Thanks

Qatar is PAL B/G. UK is PAL I... It won't work.

Sky won't work either.

Just get a TV here, they're cheap and multisystem (Would work in the UK) :)

Sentiment! We came with backpacks to this country and nothing else...besides it being scarry doing that again and this time with three kids entow, we had to work hard for our bits and feel a bit sad to get rid of them. But seems thats the way to go...

Any online shopping sites we can visit to get ideas?

Didnt think it would but if I didnt ask I'd not know...hey!

sorry for being an idiot what do you mean by multisystem? We have a Toshiba...think it's a Rega or something WLT 32.....it's got built in free view etc. Do you think that would work over there...or anyway we could find out?

Thanks!

You sky box will not work, you are outside the satellite footprint.

My TV is multi system so I don't have a problem here.

Did you Google it first?
