Hi Everybody!
people from my company that are preparing everything in Qatar for me, told me today that becouse I'm Polish?!?! I will have to pass my driving license again? Do you know if there is the law for certain countries that you have to do that? I'll be grateful!
Thanks!

same in England. An international Middle Eastern (most regions anyway) license was fine until last year and then they now force you to train and get a new license, I calculated the cost in the UK to be around 1400 pounds to get one! :o!

Well, I have my qatarli DL since over 2 years and nobody ever asked me to pass any test except for the eye test!

But just one thing for you dear... driving in here is not like in EU, it's like coming to the jungle :P

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.

If you can replace ur license with a French or British one then you won't need the test

Is your country part of the EU? If you have a passport from the EU should be no problem, but If your license is just a Polish license and your country is not listed under International standards of driving scores, then you must take a written test and driving test.

Rumors are just rumors, I don't know the Phone numbers for Doha licensing and their list of validation of countries for foreign licenses approval.
