Please can someone explain what third party insurance covers in qatar. Also at what age do cars become uninsurable on fully comp. It all seems a bit confusing.
Thanks everyone. I just wondered if third party was slightly different to that in UK but it seems not. We will be looking for a four wheel drive 2006 onwards budget upto about 85000QR from August 12th onwards. If you have anything which fits the bill please let me know.
ok so if you buy a second hand car thats less than 5 years old you can still insure it fully comp upto its fifth birthday?
Also do you have to keep the same insurance as the previous owner? I keep seeing things like 'roadside assistance' until feb 2010 and such like on ads.
Can anybody recomend a good and reputable insurer?
OK So am I right in thinking you cant insure a car fully comp thats older than three years? We aren't in Doha yet but I want to know the score before I get there.
Third Party Insurance means that if you are involved in an accident and it is your fault then the Insurance will only pay for the other repairs and vice versa
Third party insurance is for the third party damage done by the driver of your car!! In case of of damge by you to third pary ur insurance company pays for the repairing cost
