If you need your husband to come here via the Family Visit Visa, you need more than the requirements mentioned above. Please take note of the following: Labor contract, company registration with stamp, NOC from company to allow you to get your husband in Visit Visa, Pataqa, passport copy of husband, marriage cert. Check your labor contract and make sure that you're type of work is not "Laborer" or "Kadama" coz these don't qualify to sponsor family members. ONLY IMMEDIATE FAMILY can be sponsored, EXCLUDING SISTERS/BROTHERS. You can only apply for it in Al Gharaffa Immigration and Industrial Area (behind Woqod tank, near MES Indian School). Maximum extension is 6 months but before renewal, your husband must undergo a Medical Check on the Medical Commission bldg. Make sure you renew it before it expired coz QR200/day is the penalty.

I've done it a couple of times, that's why i know the procedure. Sisters/Brothers were allowed 2 yrs ago, but not anymore. visa taken from the airport is only valid for 1 month, WITHOUT EXTENSION.

hope this help. good luck.

By the way, if you wish to bring along a relative for a longer period, you will need to apply for a Visit Visa valid for more than 1 month at the MAIN IMMIGRATION office located near Landmark Mall. I believe they permit Visit Visas up to 6 months during which time your relative could look out for a suitable placement and then possibly change it to a Permanent Residence/Work Visa.

I don't believe there's any restriction or requirement on the number of months you have to stay in the country in order to apply for a Visit Visa for your husband, brothers, sisters, children, parents, etc. (they have to be your immediate family members). You can apply for it at the Airport Immigration (opposite to Tally Juice Stall), just fill in the application form available there and attach with it your Passport Copy, ID card copy, in this case your husband's Passport Copy and they will approve it then and there, as simple as that. The fee currently for such a visit visa is QR100/- and the person would be allowed to stay in the country for a period of 1 month. This visa can be used any time one time within 3 months from the date of issuance.

Hope this answer has been useful to you my friend.

Cheers!
