I was informed by my company that I am entitled to 600kg of transfering items. Any suggestions as what I should be bringing from hometown to Qatar?

We entitled to bring up to 500kg when we moved here (not as luggages but send by air, so I guess for him is the same.

Depend jugak. For my hb company, they provide everything, dari alas bantal, tuala, kettle, toaster semua ada sampai ke sudu kecik pun ada..Kalau half furnished mungkin barang besar je kot, but that I'm not too sure.
Appliances kat sini macam kat Malaysia jugak, so baik beli kat sini.

Bawaklah makanan kering yang boleh tahan lama & first essentials stuff. bawak buku - kat sini tak banyak choice. Kalau bawak keropok tu bawak lebh sikit ya, boleh jual kat saya hahahahaa
