i'm kindda confused with you people talking about a visa

GCC nationals need no visa to travel or stay in GCC countries (at least thats what i know so far)

haven't spoke about this in the interview with the organization i'm working for now ...

First of all do what type of visa do you have? If you are here on a work visa then you can convert your licence to a Qatari Licence. Just go to the traffic department at Madina Khalifat and fill up the necessary forms (bring ID photo as well). It would cost around QR250.00

Please note that you cannot covert your GCC licence until your papers (i.e. residence permit) have been processed.

However, if you're only staying here for a few weeks (on a visit or business visa), you can use your licence to rent a vehicle.

You have to go to the Police station at Madina Khalifa or enquire them by giving a call, they will clarify your stance that your Bahraini License can be converted to Qatari License or not?

I had a Dubai License and they converted mine License to Qatari License.

For Obtaining the Qatari License you first have to get your visa proceedings completed, and get your RP and Qatari ID.
