I was caught few years ago when I was 17 and w/o license. Spent the night in jail. But I could have avoided that if I spoke arabic.

If they catch you on a checkpoint (Blockade).- They will arrest you.- Car will go to impound. (2 weeks up to 8 weeks max)- They will put you prison for 3 Days in Um-Slal Mohammed (Traffic Prison).- They will take you to public prosecution, you will pay a bailout-fee 500 to 1500qr, depending nationality. (make sure you have money with you).- They will release you instantly after paying. - After a month or so, they will call you to attend the case in the Court (Al Sadd). Depending the judge, you might get 10 days prison or a fine 1000 up to 5000 QR.- After paying the fine, you can go back to PP and fetch your bailout-fee.If they catch you on a accident...You are in Jail for 1 Month, 10000QR to 30000QR fee, then deported.Regards,
