i guess i got too close to the wall whilst parking at the side of the road..the right side bumper got a bad dent and scratches - its not a major damage - but looks ugly and i want to fix it as soon as possible.

Now my question is, should i just go with my vehicle reg and license to the traffic police and tell them what happened? I took it to a garage to fix it since it wasnt something major but he insisted for the report.

It doesn't cost QR100! It costs a mere QR10. If you go to Madinat Khalifa at an off-peak period, you will be done within 5 minutes. It is not a hassle at all.

Yes u need a report to repair ur damages on ur car or if you know some mechanic in industrial area you can fix it but its risky if the police is on patrol and if they ask the papers then ur in trouble ,SO better go to traffic dept and get the paper work done for 100 riyals :)
