Central AC is where a Plant is creating cool air and blowing it through pipes just as you would receive water....but in this case the air comes in through the roof.
District Cooling is Central AC on a very big scale...tens of buildings at a time....a pipeline of cool air for a entire building will be supplied similar to how water/gas is being supplied, metered and billed. (good/bad example is Pearl where there is District Cooling).
Thats for splited couples...both can have part of it for them.....lols

The blower (shhhhh) is on the wall. The motor (RRRRR) is on the roof.

Any AC system consists mainly of four major components: Compressor, Condenser, Expansion Valve and Evaporator.
A split system air conditioner consists of indoor and outdoor units that work together (split apart).
The parts of a split system air conditioner include a compressor, fan, condenser coil, evaporator coil and refrigerant.
The condenser coil (with fan) is installed outside and connects to the evaporator coil (with expansion valve) which is inside the AC space.

its an AC split in half.. half for cold half for hot.. u place each half on a different wall/corner of the room.. :D
