Why are you so impatient, they'll open it for 2 weeks and then restart the works for a few years.

The project deadline is Sep 2009.

This is Ashghal (Public Works Authority) website which shows all running and upcoming projects on a map.

Have patience b'coz it takes time to load project location ...

How to?

1. click on this link

http://tsdims.ashghal.gov.qa:8888/mapviewer/qprov4/onlineROmap.html

2. click on Roads (after this wait for at least 1min for data to load)

3. click on the blue color project location to see the project details.

IMP: have patience DO NOT REFRESH your browser until something shows up....it won't show Busy icon when it is loading data.

D-ring road

it was supposed to open in Sept of 2008. Now authorities have announced that they have pushed the date back to Sept of 2009. Only time will tell if it will really be finished then.
