Where can I find a room or bedspace sana near the Doha airport?

Hayee po mga kabayan! Question ko lng po sna is where to find a suitable place, room or khit bedspace (more affrodable, hehe), near the Doha airport. I am currently applying for a visit visa (1 month) and once I arrive there, it would be much better if I stay near an area which is far more familiar than the others. Then from there I would work my way to looking for a job na (though I know from other forums na transpo in qatar is too high, hay). If I may add also, kindly suggest a "reasonable budget" for a month's stay in qatar provided i'll still be out looking for that job before my visa expires...Thanks so much po. :)

Pedrohs post is informative and I guess you have to heed his advice especially on the issue of transport which is really helpful if you opt to ride the bus during your job hunting. It may be more helpful if you have relatives or associates here who can help you stay with them temporarily while youre looking for a job. This time is may be a little bit harder to get a high-paying job due to the global crisis and competition from workers coming from Dubai. On the issue of bedspaces near the airport, the one who posted that theres a vacancy in their room may help you. Otherwise let me tell you that the cost of a bedspace here may range from 650 to 900.

wow...from what i understand from your letter is:

you are going to "try your luck" here in qatar??!!

if you are still in the process of acquiring your visit visa...then i advise you to wait till you have your visit visa and embassy clearance...before you "book" any accomodation in qatar...kasi hindi mo masabi kung gaanu katagal ma process yun papers mo...baka masayang yun bayad mo sa accomodation..

GOOD LUCK!!
