Can anyone tell me ..or has an idea on which hospital can deliver a baby aside from Hamad Hospital ..here in Doha..and How much does it cost? I need your suggestions please.thanks.

I dont have any experience in Hamad or any hospital here in Qatar,since this is my first pregnancy... I just want to know some options aside from Hamad Hospital for some reasons too.

The single most important (for us at least) was that they would not allow me in the delivery room....maybe that's normal to people in this part of the world, but not to me....so we went private even though it was more expensive.

Either they have lots of money to waste or their company or insurance is paying the cost

I don't know if their rates have changed, but last january (when my wife gave birth there) it was QR 6,000 for normal delivery and QR 9,000 if a C-section was required.
