Guy cud u plz help me, a family adjacent to my flat are running baby sitting and lots of disturbance coz of this.....to whom we can complaint about illegal baby sitting?
a lot of folks did reply nonsense, if you doesnt know the answer just stop barking. i agree with the folks who adhere qatar law. i still expect if any one know the number of department to whom we can furnish complaint.
try to solve the problem by communicating to them first and besides this guyz help a lot of expatriates like you and me. If the problem is very small and not that harmfull why do you have to report it directly without informing them?
sorry Azzi, let me disagree with you. As per Qatari law, one of the requirements to register a business is to provide the authorities with the physical location of this business. This location must be approved by the Municipality, and given document called "Municipality License". Goverment is quite strict with Office location approvals. From my own experience, authorities rejected business registration due to inappropriate location.

Besides, to run unregistered business is a violation. As you are probably aware, last year Qatar implemented Business Tax. Unregistered business means unpaid tax. I don't think Qatar government would like this matter.
newdxbguy, you can go to Doha Municipality and file your complaint.
What kind of disturbances? babies crying all the time or noisy kids?
How did you know your naighbor is doing baby...sitting?
You sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. Whatever your neighbor's does is really none of your business...or else you'll be accused of invasion of privasy and/or tresspassing...hehehehehe
please dont put them in trouble ..its not good. they are doing this coz they might need come extra money to live in qatar. it would be nice if you can talk to them and explain ur situvation and see what kind of action they gonna take,
if they dont do anything on it, then you could proceed the way you want if its reallllllly annoying you and family.

I believe you should better speak with them, explain them the problems you have (noise...) and try to work on a solution together.
But if you are concerned about the security of the kids then yes you should report them.
