HMC-Employment contract
My wife joined in HMC with overseas contract.(offer letter showing as overseas)now HMC Hr dept forcing her to sign the contract as local ,because they are telling that ur husband is working in Qatar.they are telling that -it is HMC policy that if husband is working in Doha,only local contract can be sign.while recruiting time or in the offer letter, they did not mansion about this HMC policy.
I herd that according to Qatar law among husband and wife-only one can get housing allowance.
HMC not asked about my salary or getting housing from my company.she tell the truth,that is why this happen.I feel this is cheating from HMc.
any one have knowledge about this?what is the labor low about this? pls,pls help/advice

Recently came through your post regarding HR Allowance and Hamad policy regarding that. Do let me know whether you got any solution to your issue, as I am also in the same situation now? HMC is now asking for a letter from my company saying that I am not getting any HRA. My company will not give this letter unless I surrender my HRA, which is a huge loss to me.
Kindly advice.
