Hello people,

I am having an interview with local company called CEG in 2 days. I am architect with 4 years experience and i would like to bring my wife (with having a kid in near future). For know i dont know package i will be offered but can you help with with information about medical plan, health care and possible maternity coverage. My wife finished faculty of economy (she would have to find a job in near future). We would like to save some money after paying all the bills. i would appreciate some rough info (rent+eating home+renting or buying a car something small think toyota prius+bills and future expenses for a baby).

Tnx,
S

I cannot post the link so you may look up for a thread titled "Sample Budget and Cost of Living- 2013 update”.

Regarding expenses for baby in future, I hope someone with family here can help you.

Housing expenses largely depends on the location which you prefer. A 1 bedroom flat at the Pearl around (QR 10,000.00), you can find cheaper ones in different areas. Check with accommodation section in this site.

If you will be offered a family status, medical will be provided by the company. Anyhow, before they will give your the figures, discuss medical, etc. issues with them to be enlightened and bargain for your total package.

Good Luck.
