Thanks all for the reply,

And you made laugh really, M.S stands for Masters of Science.

Anyway, I still do not have figures in mind, 8000QR for my wife seems logical, as she has like 3 years experience.

No way, most she could make is 8000 QR, and that's only if she's Western.

Hi all,

First I want to introduce myself since I was new member here.

My name is Sigit, Indonesian and currently working in Singapore as System Analyst.

Just this morning I got an offer for relocating to Doha

My question is

1. How much can I earn a month since I have 11 years exp in IT? Is salary under US$ 3000 is normal or consider underpaid?

2. How about normal cost living for family with 1 kid (2 y.o)

3. What if I want to bring my family or should I wait until settle?

4. If I bring my family, how about their permit to live in Doha?

5. I got housing allowance also, what is normal condition for housing in Doha. Since in singapore we life on flats.

Thats all for the first question, still have lots of thing in mind but any comment I highly appreciate.
