What is the salary range for a post of officer or manager in QR that would offer to expat? Any other allowances such as housing/transport/travel etc.?

It is important for me to decide whether I should leave my home country and move to Doha. Any advice are welcome!

Hi! I am new in Qatar Living. I just recently signed an open contract for 1 of the big companies in Qatar. Here's my offer:

Basic 5,000 QAR

Guaranteed Bonus for 3 months - 3,000 QAR

Housing/Transportation - Company Provided

2 Way Ticket home once a year

I am single and will be working as a Marketing Exec. Is the offer okay?

Hi catworm,

What position & grade do they offer you? I have seen quite a number of posts here from Hongkongers receiving QA offers, and their salary varies a lot, from unattractive to eye-whopping.

Grade 8-11 are managerial grades. Grade 7 is senior office/controller, and grade 6 if officer. Supervisor/team level is around grades 5-6.

Can it be more specific on grading? 5000 to 100,000 rials seems too wide in range.

QR refers to the airline. I was heard that Grade 8 to 10 refers to managerial level and with manager to senior manager title. How about Grade 7? It should be officer grade at supervisory/team leader level.

Can anybody tell me the expat salary range for QR Grade 7 to Grade 9 each?

5000 to 100,000 rials per month, depending on experience and industry.
