have come to think, so never apologize for that...again tho..to each their own and let us not judge them...for we may be the next to be judged, for whatever reason...and hopefully they'd think kindly upon us also.

actually its not "proper" to do that in just about any society...just some people are more apt to take their own live in their own hands instead of caring about what others think...

Like I said, the comment NOT Boer is "kinda" harsh. Boer corrected himself and all is well.

If you think it's a stupid question with a stupid comment, it's your opinion...I'm not disagreeing or agreeing to it. I'm also giving my opinion...

I don't blame her, I wouldn't want to stay in Doha either if I had a chance to stay in Dubai.

If I'm not mistaken, she's a Filipina like me (correct me if I'm wrong, TG) and by our customs and traditions, it's not PROPER to do so.

It's like "chicken feed" going to the chicken (or rooster, in this case- just making this light, TG)...the MAN should be the one who should be doing the effort.

I don't consider it a stupid question...nor a stupid answer. It's an opinion and since this is a forum, we discuss about it...don't you think so?

Tresgandas, I owe you an apology.

I guess you're just trying to look out for your friend.

Tresgandas' friend is of age and can decide for herself. The BF coming over won't change anything as they may be playing checkers (as Scarlett put it) or whatever...totally NOYB.

We understand what you feel/think...it's kinda NOT ACCEPTABLE if we're basing it from the way we were brought up by our parents and elders. We're not justifying that your friend do whatever she feels/think like doing...sometimes, it's better we keep our silence and painfully watch/support our friends do what could make them happy.

As a friend, just be there when the time comes that she needs you...

You resent the fact that she is going to visit her b/f. You're p'd off because you couldn't get into her pants??

if i had to venture a guess, your friend is by now an EX friend since you chose to make this situation public on an internet forum. I'm sure that if you are on here, she is also and knows who and what you are up to.

Now on that issue...stop for a minute and think...as a friend, WHY are you judging your friend on her morals?? She may be going to visit her boyfriend and they might be playing checkers all weekend for all you know(NOT that its any of your business in the first place!!) Heck if he comes to Doha to visit her, they might, GASP, be playing cards...What matters is the fact that SHE(and he) is fine with what they have planned for the vacation. So...why not back off(might want to think about apologizing to her, tho) and keep her business where it belongs...with HER!!!!

Hope you don't mind me saying...but it's ENTIRELY UP TO YOUR FRIEND.

It's her decision to spend her vacation with her BF and whatever happens to her and her trip/vacation. Or vice versa.

I know you're know just concerned of what others would think about your friend and you care so much for her. But saying it's CHEAP...and her finding out that you think so...you would hurt her feelings and might lose the friendship.

As a friend, she needs your support...tell her what you think and give her your opinion (as nicely as you can), maybe she'll appreciate it...

but

If her boyfriend comes to Doha to spend time with her during her vacation she is not cheap.
