I think the management do not care about the plight of the workers - they are to busy squandering money on Dubai Escorts!

Just read this story and saw that DynCorp is also known here. Just a word of caution for everyone considering to work for this company.

The reputation of Dynacorp in Qatar is very notorious with serious issues, such as to force upon arrival amendments to your original contract from the States(Less money).

Normally their retentions scores are, from a group of ten arrivals, only three will stay, in a period of three months, people will get fed up and recycle out.

Currently Dynacorp was holding some court issues with some of their former employees for contract breaching that were recognize by the Qatar Labor laws as illegal. It was publish in the news paper last year a few times. Currently there is a law suit against Dynacorp in the States from those previous employees.

Currently the contracts for the employees are based on three months, give and take. No long term contracts, such as one year. The salaries over here varies from 1500 to 2000 per every two weeks. In other words a police man in the states or a school teacher makes more money than a guard. All depends in the position that is filled.

In my opinion to be standing as a bullet catcher and putting up with racial tensions and discrimination from a company such as Dynacorp in DOHA, is not worth the money. Unless you have many mouths to feed and have serious bills to paid off, then do the sacrifice. There is other companies out there that will paid decently for that kind of work.

This Is something to think about very seriously. I have seen, lots of good friends come and go for those reasons. They make promises at HQ and they won't hold them upon arrival.

Good luck in your decision!
